Tools for Email marketing
The best thing you can do for business is to have a good email list. You need good email lists if your business is going to get any substantial amount of business from even just one click of the mouse. This is because you will only be able to reach such leads with a successful email campaign if the people who matter most to them are in your mailing list. There are many reasons why having a great email list is important, but most importantly it makes sure that when someone goes out and comes to contact your brand, they’re getting something that they want. So, what good emails help to achieve this? Here are a few tools for email marketing you should have in place.
Pulse Mobile
Pulse Mobile is easily one of the top tools for mobile marketing out there. By using pulse Mobile, you can send messages to individuals as well as group, and then you can choose whether to show them these individual messages or the entire group, depending on how large your mailing list is. As always with anything, make sure you are running an ad free account of pulse so that your ads only cost you money once, and then you can add more individuals to your mailing list without paying out a penny. On average, you can expect to see 40-50 new contacts per day. If your company is looking to grow, consider adding another 100 contacts.
MailChimp
Mailchimp is absolutely essential if you want to improve your email list for sure. Basically, Mailchimp has all the features required by email marketers when creating email lists. It gives you multiple features like campaigns, segmentation, notifications and much more. Most of all it means that it’s easy to use and anyone can be a part of their own mailing list using this platform. It supports both B2B and B2C emails, and even though more than 5 million users already use Mailchimp, it seems like every week more and more businesses are starting to try this tool out and find that it works better for their needs. Overall, Mailchimp is my No 1 choice when it comes to email automation.
Gmail
One of the first things every blogger does right away is create a Gmail mailing list for their blog and start sending some emails. Though I think there are a lot of bloggers who don’t know how to set up their email list and don’t care about doing it, I am here to tell you that it will only take you 4 hours or so to set it, and you can be done within the hour. You can use any password manager (I am not recommending those) or even have 2 different usernames, and you can change your personal email to your blog name, or vice versa. Also, set up a custom domain name and your blog URL. Then, install plugins for the content management system of your blog, as well as plugins for social media, so that whenever you publish a post, a link to this post appears at your blog homepage. To manage your comments, and everything else on your blog, go into settings, select “Send Incoming E-mails’ and save it as the “Sent Inbox” option.
Constant Contact
is a paid email marketing platform that offers a variety of features, including email templates, automated email campaigns, and contact lists. You can also add live chat and social.
All of these options are quite good and can help to improve your email list as long as they have any value for your organization.
But these are not all of the tools that I have in mind. My next post will also cover some analytics tools to improve your stats, and how to create custom email templates so you don’t have to worry about writing one. Until then, feel free to comment below and let me know your thoughts!
